ABSTRACT

This study summarizes the clinical achievement in key technologies of cancer supportive care. 1) Conceptual change. Medical teams now recognize supportive care as the core of comprehensive treatments for cancer. Supportive care is widely implemented clinically. 2) Team composition and operation mode. The program shapes an ideal supportive care team. The ideal team shall operate as one of the three models: solo practice model, congress practice model, or integrated care model according to the actual situation. 3) Scope of work. Supportive care team provides patients with spiritual care, pharmacologic assist, exercise guidance, nutritional support, effective communication, emotional support, and rehabilitation consultation. Efforts have been made to set up demonstrative wards that are free of pain, bleeding, thrombosis, hunger, and depression nationwide. 4) Standardized pain management for cancer patients. To optimize pain management, a multidisciplinary team is formed, an outpatient follow-up system is set up, and the focus is put on cancer pain education and policy advocacy. 5) A system of nutritional diagnosis and treatment. It urges the bi-diagnosis of cancer and malnutrition for inpatients and leads the proposal of the three-level diagnosis and five-ladder therapy for malnutrition. 6) Extension and expansion of supportive care out of the hospital. The program proposes the hospital-community-home management model, an integrated model for comprehensive nutritional therapy. 7) Emphasis on the quality of life. A new quality of life assessment method for cancer patients and a survival prediction model for end-stage cancer patients are established. 8) Comprehensive nursing care. It integrates spiritual care into the care of cancer patients. A management platform for continuous care service is developed with the help of internet technology and virtual reality.

ABSTRACT

Research and development of classical prescription of Chinese medicine has become one of the hot spots in the research of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and the successful development of the primary standard is crucial to the application of the classical prescription of Chinese medicine. Primary standard of classical prescription is not only the benchmark to measure the quality of preparation of classical prescription, but also the material basis of whole prescription. The development and quality control mode of single component of western medicine is not suitable for the development of TCM preparation with integral medicinal function. Thus, it is very urgent to develop an exclusive research and development model for TCM. In order to break through the quality control technology of primary standard of classical prescription, and comprehensively and accurately elucidate the transmission rule of the component group value of medicinal materials-decoction pieces-primary standard of classical prescription with the present modern science and technology, the genetic polymorphism of TCM, extraction kinetics, total quantum statistical moment (similarity) method of fingerprint and supramolecular imprinting template were combined and applied to the development of primary standard of classical prescription. In this way, the development and quality control of TCM will be realized in a real sense and the development of classical prescription of Chinese medicine will be accelerated and promoted.

ABSTRACT

Herbgenomics is an interdisciplinary subject between traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) and genomics.It is a comprehensive discipline covering multi-omics research in both medicinal organisms of TCM and the relationship of TCM to human body.It has been widely used in the research fields of medicinal model organisms,synthetic biology of TCM,identification of TCM molecules and breeding of medicinal plant cultivars,pharmacokinetics,and the study on the geoherbalism and medicinal of TCM.With the release of important documents,such as the Law of the People's Republic of China on TCM and the Outline of TCM Development Strategy(2016-2030),the Chinese medicine industry has entered a new and high-level development opportunity and the herbgenomic research area has got a landmark achievement.The training of well-rounded students and researchers is a key point for the development of TCM industry and the reform of medical colleges and universities.Therefore,the establishment of herbgenomics is particularly important for the modernization of TCM.At present,many colleges and universities have set up the course of Herbgenomics among graduate students and undergraduates,and initially formed a distinctive herbal genomics talent training system.This paper introduces the herbgenomics from the progress of the research,the development of teaching courses,the background of the textbook,the main content and key technologies of the discipline and the prospect of discipline construction,in order to provide theoretical basis and methodological support for the discipline construction,personal training and scientific research of herbgenomics.

Quality assurance is the key to the clinical efficacy,industrial development and international development of Chinese medicine.This article,themed “developing key technologies in R&D and quality research of Chinese medicine”,introduced the advances in constructing state key laboratory of Chinese medicine,the location of overseas innovative platform,systemic research of Chinese medicine (effectiveness,safety,stability,controllability,systematicness) and R&D of innovative Chinese medicine.We also discussed how to apply advanced technologies in drug evaluation,and how to utilize the basis of scientific research and academic advances in the development of innovative drugs,thereby ensuring the safety,efficiency and controllability of drugs.

ABSTRACT

Sanhuang Xiexin Decoction is one of the ancient decoctions, which has thousands years of history and has been still used nowadays. It is widely used in the diseases which are caused by exuberant fire in clinicl. Sanhuang Tablets and Yiqing Granules which are derived from Sanhuang Xiexin Decoction have become standing drugs in Chinese families. This paper reviewed the research reports on Sanhuang Xiexin Decoction for recent 50 years, analyzed the researching characteristics and superiorities of Sanhuang Xiexin Decoction, and found out the key links and core problems. The aim of this paper is to provide the references for the research of modernization and development of Sanhuang Xiexin Decoction.

Objective To investigate the key technology of PACS and HIS' integration.Methods Based on the application results of PACS and HIS,some key technologies are mainly described including standardization,storage,image pre-retrieve and preassignment,medical image compression,workstation and display system in integration.Results A better understanding for the role of PACS was made and a good foundation for advanced application was provided.Conclusion Key technologies must be well dealt with in the integration of PACS and HIS.

ABSTRACT

To be a reference to industrial production of Chinese materia medica (CMM) and modernization of CMM and to summarize several relevant articles and consulte some publications about common key technologies in CMM production. Since 2000, some new technologies have been applied to CMM industrial production, such as SFE, macroporous resin extraction, MST, high-speed centrifugal, ultrasonic extraction, microwave extraction, HSCCC, etc. There are still some problems and difficulties lying in its application to industry. But with the innovation and further research of these new technologies, the application of these technologies to CMM preparation and production may help to expedite the modernization and industrial production of CMM. These technologies will be applied to CMM industrial production with making it more and more vigorous.
